The Perfect Premium Case

Diligently designed to accommodate each Paramount Series acoustic to perfection, each molded hardshell case features black plush interior lining—a regal touch that accentuates the instrument's eye-catching tone woods and binding. It also includes a guitar humidifier and useful storage compartment, making gig-to-gig transport a cinch.

A New Generation Of Performance Acoustics

The Paramount Series features rich solid East Indian rosewood back and sides on the Deluxe models, and premium solid mahogany on Standard models. Each acoustic guitar is paired with a Sitka spruce top, carefully braced with quartersawn, scalloped 'X'-bracing, ensuring sonic perfection with every pick and strum. A fast-playing 'C'-shaped mahogany neck and ebony fingerboards on the Deluxe models or rosewood fingerboards on the Standard models are designed to accommodate any playing style.

Three Body Styles

The Paramount series comes in three classic body styles.

PM-1 Dreadnought: For the discerning guitarist who wants a dynamic sound as powerful and wide as the open range. Dreadnoughts are the staple body shape which dominates the acoustic world. It offers bold projection and balanced tone.

PM-2 Parlor: For the finger-style player who desires a smaller body that's easy to handle, with a delicate, vintage-style voice. Parlors are a popular choice among blues players for their sharp dry attack and warm subdued low frequencies. Parlor's are also ideal for traveling and players of all sizes.

PM-3 Triple-0: For the singer-songwriter who wants the best of best of both worlds - more volume and a smaller body - along with unique voice. Triple-0 bodied guitars have been regaining a lot of popularity in the folk world due to their balanced tone and projection. These guitars are ideal for both solo acoustic artists and full band applications.

All Solid Wood

The Paramount Series features rich solid East Indian rosewood back and sides on the Deluxe models, and premium solid mahogany on Standard models. Each acoustic guitar is paired with a Sitka spruce top, carefully braced with quartersawn, scalloped 'X'-bracing, ensuring sonic perfection with every pick and strum. A fast-playing 'C'-shaped mahogany neck and ebony fingerboards on the Deluxe models or rosewood fingerboards on the Standard models are designed to accommodate any playing style.

Signature Styling

The Paramount Series acoustic guitars are designed with elements of classic ’60s Fender models, including checkerboard purfling and rosette, pickguard shape, and abalone and mother-of-pearl 'Concert Tone' fingerboard inlays on the Deluxe models. Even with this art deco look, the Paramount Series acoustic guitars still retain their footing in modern design.

Fender- And Fishman-Designed PM Preamp With Tuner

The Paramount Series acoustic guitars come equipped with a Fishman and Fender designed PM preamp specifically voiced to the shape of each acoustic guitar, responding to playing dynamics and bringing out the most subtle tonal nuances. Sitting flush with the side of the guitar, its smaller footprint offers maximum control in a discreet design.

Complete with tuner, frequency (bass, master volume and treble) and phase controls, this collaboration in preamp design not only offers versatile ways to fine-tune your tone, but also imparts an elegant retro look reminiscent of vintage radio knobs.

THIS GUITAR WAS SOURCED THROUGH MIRC (musical instrument reclamation corp

  • What exactly does MIRC do to the instruments?

MIRC partners with musical instrument manufacturers to refurbish stringed instruments including overstocks, discontinued, blemished, and in some cases instruments in need of repair.

Each instrument is sent through MIRC’s certified shop, where a professional team of luthiers and guitar/stringed instrument techs evaluate each instrument and, if needed, perform any adjustments or repairs.

Each instrument is then categorized accordingly and is distributed to the MIRC family of dealers.

Are these refurbished instruments stamped "used?"

Many MIRC guitars are gently stamped "used." This is an agreement that MIRC has with many of the manufacturers. For many, the "used" stamp is looked at as a sign of quality, giving confidence that a used instrument originating from MIRC has been properly set-up and refurbished by a professional tech.

Why is the serial number reassigned?

As in the case of the "used" stamp, many MIRC instruments are reassigned a serial number. This is an agreement MIRC has with many of the manufacturers and is also looked at as a symbol of quality.

Does every instrument from MIRC get stamped "used" and reassigned a serial number?

No, not all instruments from MIRC receive this treatment. It is dependent on the agreement MIRC has with each individual manufacturer.
