This guitar plays good and it’s a really nice vintage 1960s Kent No. 551 Americana guitar. It has a nice feel and a nice tone to it. This guitar is very hard to find and this one is in overall good condition. The electronics work well and it has very small signs of fret use which is very rare for a 1960s guitar. Cosmetically it has some small scratches, indentions, signs of use/wear from age, and some finish checking. Also, the Kent logo on the headstock is missing and one of the tuners has been replaced. All of this is just cosmetic, and doesn’t affect how it plays. Only thing to note is that on the low E string, the 17th and 18th frets, or the 3rd and 4th highest frets near the body of the guitar, buzz. These frets are hardly played but a simply setup would probably fix these. It’s a great playing guitar and this deal also includes a case. It’s the cheaper older vintage style case and 3 out of the 4 latches work perfectly, the front one, doesn’t want to stay shut sometimes, but all the other latches hold the case together fine. This isn’t the original case so I would recommend the future buyer getting a better one for it. Overall it’s a great playing nice sounding vintage guitar at a great price! This will be packaged extremely well for shipping. This guitar is being sold as is to the description above, since it’s a vintage guitar.
