Pr of the very rare and incomparable Tungsol JAN CTL 6384 Power tubes, military specification, Matching 239 Batch numbers, boxes, excellent design, craftsmanship, attention to detail, longevity and performance. These will make any 6L6 variant look like a toy. They are incredibly built, heavy ceramic construction, support rods, 3 wafer supports, thick black plates, D getters. They can only be substituted for a 6L6/5881/KT66 with a tube socket adapter or rewire of the tube sockets in the amplifier. They were made for the Military and Aerospace applications. The Tungsol manufacturing facility specialized in the highest specification tube applications and is considered the pinnacle of manufacturing. The plate rating is 750 volts at 30 Watts, exceeds all 6L6/5881/EL37/KT66 specifications. Peak output is over 9.5 volts. Nothing compares to these in design, craftsmanship, materials, application and potential performance. They are impressive and quite rare. As mentioned and should be understood, these are not a direct plug in replacement for a 6L6/KT66/EL37 or 5881. But tube socket adapters can be purchased to these can be used without rewiring your tube sockets. Or, you can have a tech rewire your tube sockets to match the pin out on these impressive tubes. It would also be wise to make sure that your amplifier will handle the current and specs of these incomparable tubes. They were tested on by B&K Calibrated Mutual Conductance tube tester.
