Blue Frog Custom Shop Made in USA Hybrid Single Cutaway Electric Guitar Hybrid Tele/lp/strat 2015

For sale today is one of my handcrafted Blue Frog Made in the USA custom Nitro Lacquer guitars. this is one of my hybrid guitars and it draws from quite a few iconic guitars. first of all the body is shaped like a Telecaster and is done Cabronita Style but with a Stratocaster tremolo, Full Brass block USA spaced Vintage six screw with Vintage Saddles bridge and is anchored with 4 Springs. Body is back routed and has one tone,one volume and a Gibson three way switch but layed out tele style without the chrome control plate.  Body is finished in Classic 50's Sonic Blue Nitro Cellulose Lacquer which sounds amazing and ages quickly and beautifully.Pickups are GFS Nashville Retrotron humbuckers somewhat like a Gretsch Sparkle Jet. The only difference is the tone and these are humbucker sized rather than Filtertron or tv jones sized which makes them swap out in any humbucker routed guitar (very cool idea on GFS's part) and they sound fabulous clean or dirty plenty of power but clear as a bell. neck is a Gorgeous maple/maple with a 10" radius medium C shape back contour and 6150 frets that are dead level polished dressed and crowned and finished with a camel bone nut. modern Gotoh tuners and vintage string trees tinted in Vintage Amber Nitro with rosewood skunk stripe and is mounted with a WBS Neck Joint System. All Blue Frog Guitars use  the patented WBS Neck joint system which does away with the Archaic technology of a wood screw to attach neck to body,this system uses stainless steel fine thread machine screws mated a large Brass bushing in the neck that increases the clamping force by a factor of 10 or more so note articulation and sustain is dramatically improved. I have been putting them in all my bolt neck guitars for years now and i sometimes forget to mention it in the description, but it really makes a difference that you can hear immediately. 10-46 d'addarios and action is low and fast big sound with the 10's though. guitar is fabulous and at a cost half that of an American Standard Fender and hell they dont make anything this cool in the first place.
