This pre-main amplifier is based on the technologies developed in the ES-II series and Sony's semiconductors. All stages are directly connected to the power amplifier section with pure complimentary service symmetrical OCL circuit. In addition, differential amplification by dual transistors is adopted. It also functions as a control amplifier, such as two way tape copy function and Tape2 input / output jack.
Moving to UK, so selling this recently purchased (June 23) vintage combo. Sony TA-2650 integrated amplifier with a matching ST-2950 stereo tuner. Highly regarded and fairly powerful amplifier at 43 watts per channel RMS. Very good cosmetic and working condition. Very good sound quality especially from the phono section (selling Technics direct drive turntable under separate listing). The tuner also sounds great - a bit of noise when tuning the stations, but works fine overall. These were the entry to the Sony stereo separates at the time and really sound nice. A stereo RCA cable set and FM antenna are included.
