I use reverb safe shipping or RSS for all purchases, it’s fairly cheap, unless you charge Crazy prices, especially for them to be there, to deal with, and quickly resolve any and all issue., usually in a matter of days. This service is less than $10 for items between $200-$400, to give an example. We are also sometimes offered shipping discounts with some services, if possible I like to use my discount to try to upgrade my buyers shipping. Anyone that charges $100 for shipping and says they lose money on shipping, it’s only because their insurance value is so high with Reverb services, if they didn’t charge $2000 for a $700 item then they’re shipping prices would be just fine. All you’re paying for is a higher insurance value, if my items are described to work then according to the description you get a working item or your money back. Thanks for your support, ALL my items GUARANTEED to work as described. I pack well and ship multiple times a week. Good service should not cost an extra thousand dollars an item.

From 1983, Sansui’s XR-Q7, fully working and ready to go. XR-Q7, the direct drive so quiet it sounds like a belt drive. This has just been serviced by pro tech (with receipts), tonearm motor rebuilt and band replaced, along with proper lubrication and alignment. Although this runs on 100v (It is a Japanese Domestic Market Item), my tech ran it at 120v as well, and said it runs well within specs at both, so while you may prefer a step down transformer, it is not necessary.

Comes w/ 45 adapter and after market soft nylon cover. Equipped with headshell w/ DL-55 MC cartridge. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.

Specs and info from the web:

The newly developed silent synchrotor system, featured in the XR-Q7 turntable, has been proven to prevent the reactionary force generated by the direct drive motor from vibrating the turntable cabinet.

It does so by rotating the silent synchrotor in a direction opposite to that of the direct drive motor at any given moment, thereby cancelling any torque fluctuations as they occur.

Other features of the Sansui XRQ7 include a quartz-servo system for perfect speed control, an amazing vibration free D-O-B tonearm with vibration free tonearm base, precise computer controlled fully automatic operation and a solid platter mat which helps assure optimum reproduction quality.
