Mmmm today something that’s truly a one off with exceptional detail. M.E.K. Tonebender MK lll. Musicales Electro Kinetik, a one off replica of the last of the MK lll‘s. made in the U.S. in 2022. Take a look under the hood it speaks for itself! All the components except a modern English quiet switch and the English jacks are vintage, the board, resistors, pots and of course the germanium transistors. using a vintage Mullard OC 81 as the diode and 2 expertly matched vintage Mullard OC-76 transistors. Did someone find that Tonebender Junkyard we all have heard about, did this come from there? A brick red hammertite Sola Sound casing, this is a very complex sounding fuzz, just like the last of the Mk lll’s are known for. Vibes says 10 out 10 doctors agree that this rocks! In excellent condition although the perfect candidate for that relic style thing that is happening with some of the new builders.
