Ludwig Super Sensitive Snare Drum (1966 based on it's 304866 Serial)

For it's age, the drum is in very good condition. New Remo top and snare head otherwise all parts look original but I don't know how to verify the rims. Nothing is missing, there are no extra holes or modifications. Mechanically it works well, the snares seem to stay better than the 70's version that wont stay 100% engaged. The snares have adjustable individual tension on one side, there IS one strand missing. Puresound still makes modern snare wires to fit this drum.

The shell has some chrome that has corroded and peeled off around the bottom edge only. The top edge has no peeling. There are a couple areas on the inside of one of the rims where there is some rust. The lug casings don't seem to have any pitting to speak of. The shell has some very light pitting here and there but is pretty clean for it's age. Just typical light scratches. These older shells tend to look considerably rougher in a photograph.
