90s Samick Artist Series. These were nicely built guitars when the Korean factories were hitting their stride. This one, unfortunately, had seen better days. Carved on, spray painted black...so I had no problem bringing it back as a lefty.
Black paint is gone, "Rock On" is still scratched into the back. The pink-ish looking spots on the top are where someone had sanded or steel wooled prior to spraying it black. Replaced the tuners with Grovers, the pickups with humbuckers from Tricked Out Guitar. Set up the controls like a Dot Studio, 1 vol-1 tone -3 way switch. Plastic plugs in the existing RH control holes. Flipped the saddles in the bridge to get better intonation. Plays well and sounds really good. Comes with a 335 style case.
