1977 Gibson SG Special/Standard in Ebony. This was a very rare model that was only made for a year or two, a combination of a special and a standard. They are harder to find in ebony. The guitar seems to be mostly original with the exception of a 1980’s era Seymour Duncan Custom in the bridge and the knobs. The original tar back neck is still installed. The guitar shows signs of use but no signs of abuse. The guitar was originally marked a “second” which would have meant it had a minor finish flaw when original sold. This would be hard to know what the original flaw was after 40 plus years. This is an amazing playing and sounding guitar that I have used for recording. The guitar will come in a Gibson SG hard shell case

The guitar will be professionally packaged and insured for safe shipping.
