Samick "The Samick" Les Paul Custom 1986-7 Tobacco Burst

This is a Super Rare Samick Les Paul Custom, made in Japan when they were commissioned by Gibson to make Epiphone guitars in the Asian market. unconfirmed

This is a pre serial number model that says "The Samick" on the headstock in script so that puts it in the '86 to '87 range right after the prototype were produced, starting in '88 they used just "Samick" in script. Very few made ! The legend says these were plucked from the Epiphone line to be used as Samick Les Pauls & when Gibson moved it's production to Korea, Gibson made Samick change the body style in order to keep producing the guitar. unconfirmed

This information is not etched in stone, as NO ONE really knows ! I am by no means a Samick expert, as others seem to be ! So do your own research to come to your own conclusion ! As NO ONE has the real "concrete" proof either way. 

So there are Very few of these Exact copy Samick Les pauls to be had

& is the only real Exact copy that was allowed by Gibson under it's trademark laws

It is Mahogany with a set Mahogany Neck & shares all the same specs as the real thing

I put Emg's in it because the stock pickups were junk, it has an 81 at the bridge & an 85 at the neck & gold hardware

Has a killer smooth. fast neck with custom pearl block inlays

I would put this guitar up against any Les Paul I've ever played
