This is a vintage 1972 Silverface amp installed in a brand new twin 2x12" combo cabinet. The vintage amp has been updated with new power caps and valves, but otherwise the amp head is pure vintage. One valve socket that was tweaked has been replaced. It is a beautifully sounding vintage amp in a mint new cabinet, but it is marked as "Very Good" condition because the amp circuitry is vintage. Once you have seen the vintage circuit board stamped "June 18, 1972" and play through it, you become emotionally involved. It was a passion project to save a piece of early-1970s history. The cabinet is brand new as are the twin Celestion A-Type speakers, both of which are true to the original spec. Comes ready to hit the stage with spring reverb unit and footswitch to toggle reverb and tremolo. The tilt legs are included in the price but are not yet installed. Let us know if you want us to install them for you prior to pickup. Or, if you prefer, we can swap the tilt legs for 4 casters, installed. If you don't want the legs or casters, we can knock off $60 from the sale price.
