It has gained popularity in Japan and abroad as a Les Paul type guitar that surpasses the original.
Utilizing Gibson's excellent woodworking techniques, the concept of this model is "a perfect copy of an old Les Paul," and the beautiful curves and shape of the body and head are reproduced by "boring" process. The model also reproduces the pegs, bridge, fret edges, and even a single screw. The pickups are equipped with DiMarzio "PAF" pickups. Despite being a replica, Tokai has completed the ultimate old copy with a degree of perfection that surpasses the original, and continues to attract many fans to this day. Tokai guitars that continue to attract many fans today are truly "Japan Vintage.
