Rare Korean-made CMI E200 in black

This is potentially one of only two of it’s kind currently existing and available on the Reverb market and beyond.

Information on the origin is limited but this model has also been known to have been branded as a Cort SL-2.

Specification as follows:

• 24“ short scale
• Double cutaway body
• Body thickness: ≈ 1 inch
• Two large strat style single coil pickups
• Independent volume controls
• Universal tone control
• Adjustable bridge for string height.
• Maple neck
• 21 fret worn Ebony stained fingerboard
• Open gear machine heads
  
  This thing is really unique and sounds sneakily good. The small scale length makes gliding around the fretboard easy and the work we did on the frets has put this thing on another level.
  
• We fully restored this instrument using all the original parts. It is clean, frets crowned and polished, and it sounds great
  
  It’s in fair condition considering it’s age and we’re actually kinda sad to see it go here at the shop. We’re hoping it finds a good home with you.
  
  The CMI E200 has glassy neck tones and twangy bridge tones that you’re able to dial in fairly well.
