About This Listing

Brand new, hand crafted Avalon small bodied, OO style Americana S320 A all solid wood acoustic guitar. Built by world class Avalon craftsmen in Northern Ireland, the Americana series is designed to evoke the aura of vintage US flat tops!

The high quality workmanship and detail on this instrument are beyond our ability to describe! It has an unmistakably bluesy, warm tone, which is why Avalon calls it their "12 Fret Blues Model".

This guitar has classic features, including the 12 frets to the body neck, slotted headstock with open style butterbean Gotoh tuners, and a pyramid bridge made with solid ebony. Long scale. String spacing is about 2 5/16" at the saddle and about 1 3/4 at the nut, quite comfortable for most finger style players.

Back and sides are solid East Indian rosewood, the top is solid spruce, and the neck is mahogany. The guitar is beautifully bound in solid sycamore. There is some figuring in the beautifully finished sunburst top. The lower bout is about 14.5" wide. There is zero plastic on this guitar - nothing but high quality solid woods and top of the line tuners.

Comes with a new,  high quality Hiscox hard shell case made in England.

Our thanks to our friend Doug Yeomans for making this demonstration video for us!
