Condition Description

This Vintage 1959 Gibson USA ES-140T 3/4 is a great looking, playing and sounding guitar. It does have some minor scratch's, chips, dings, marks, & light checking here and there as pictured, but is is a 65+ year old guitar and I consider it to be in great shape overall. The FON and model ink stamps inside the guitar are smudged as pictured. You can make out the FON enough to see it starts with the letter "S" dating it to 1959 without question. The fingerboard and frets show wear as pictured, no attention needed and plays great as it is (see pics). The fret marker at the 7th fret is missing (easily replaced). The original finish overall is still very clean. The D string tuner is bent, but still operates as it should. The back of the neck and headstock are in good shape, showing wear and flaws as pictured. All electronics operate perfectly without issue. My pics are very descriptive, so please view them all!

Here's Some Info From The Web:

The Gibson ES-140T 3/4 has a single cutaway (Venetian), 12 3/4″ wide body, maple laminated single bound body, one P-90 pickup, one piece mahogany neck with a 22 3/4″ short scale and a gold silkscreen logo. The Gibson ES-140T 3/4 archtop electric guitar was produced between 1957-1968.

If your a player or collector, this ES-140T will make a great addition! Although, I think its set up great and plays perfectly as is, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking.. The neck is straight, the truss rod operates properly and there is adjustment left on the bridge.

Comes with everything shown in the pics (guitar & case only)!
