The Neumann KM83 is the omni version of the KM84, a solid state FET cousin of the KM53. Wonderful as a room mic or on overheads, perfect for the nuances of acoustic instruments. No serious studio is ever without one of these in the mic locker.
This one is in near mint condition and works flawlessly. It has been hardly used, only for classical or folk music studio recordings.
I wanted to show the innards, but to do so I should have destroyed that purple platic protection. Which means no one ever opened the mic so far !
SN 24912, it's the klein tuchel output connector version. Sold with a Tuchel - XLR adaptor cable and a hard case.
