Fender Upgraded Champ 600 Amp

This Champ 600 has dual Hi/Low instrument inputs and a single Volume control. It has been upgraded with a Magnetic Components ClassicTone 40-18030 output transformer, a 6" Ted Weber Signature Alnico speaker, upgraded Sovtek 6V6 & J/J 12AX7/ECC83 tubes, an R7 feedback in/out selector switch. When the switch is closed the R7 feedback resistor dampens the tone. When the switch is open the tone manifests more clarity and gain. The amp will ship with the switch open for high gain. It is mounted to the underside of the tube chassis and is easily switched by reaching inside from the back side. The original factory Fender speaker will ship with the amp. This is a really gutsy little 5 watt amp. The upgrades improved the stock tone of this classic "student amp" that has been used by the likes of Keith Richards because of the great sound. This retro model is no longer available from Fender. It is super-portable, weighs about 15 Lbs and measures 11-1/2" tall, 12" wide, 7-1/2" deep.
