For sale is an elegant Koll Duo Glide, crafted by Saul Koll specifically for the 2020 NAMM show. This exceptional build showcases a highly figured Brazilian rosewood fretboard with some of the prettiest inlays to ever grace this model; a salvaged walnut top sourced from a fallen tree in NE Portland, and a captivating quilted mahogany back. The headstock is adorned with a Macassar ebony veneer, and the guitar is finished with a gorgeous satin finish that provides an incredibly smooth playing experience. It is equipped with Koll-spec Arcane P90 pickups, a Bigsby B5 tremolo system (retro Bigsby arm also included), and a Jason Schroeder TOM Bridge. Saul has aptly named this guitar "70s Hi-Fi" due to its striking resemblance to a stylish, retro wood-paneled stereo system.
This guitar is in superb condition, with only minor pick swirls on the Bakelite guard and a few very small marks on the finish from respectful play. (see photo 8)
Included in the sale are the original hardshell case (OHSC), hang tags, and case candy. Please refer to the specifications below and view the attached photos. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries.
