Welcome to another fine guitar from The Old Europe! Please make sure to read the entire description below carefully, and look at all the pictures.

General introduction and background:

Nice and rare C.G. Winner badged guitar. Made in the 1980s in Korea by either Samick or Cort – my guess is rather Samick than Cort. C.G. Winner was a brand established by German musical instruments shop Musik Meyer out of Marburg, Germany.

As always, the instrument has been serviced completely and is ready to be played immediately.

Measurements, weight and other specs:

-Scale:  648 mm

-Nut: 4,1 mm

-Weight: 4,2 kg

-Pickups: Two unbranded humbucker pickups measuring at ~14k (Bridge) and 7,9k (Neck), controlled with 3 way toggle switch, master volume and master tone.

-Body: laminated layers of wood

-Neck: very slim C shaped neck, not sure which material (maybe maple) with rosewood fingerboard. Not too girthy frets on a very flat radius (probably 12’’)

Condition:

-Body: Good condition with some marks of use, a couple of dings

-Neck: neck is straight, frets are in good condition (8/10) with little to no buzz

-Hardware: good shape

-Electrics: everything works as it should

-Originality: all original

Sound and Playability:

-Playability and string action: The playability is great with a string action of 1,3 mm at the 12th fret. If you want it lower, you can do that

-Sound: A nice rounded tone, but also able to do 80s metal and hardrock really well. Please listen to the video for a sound demo.

Repairs, Service:

As always, the instrument has been serviced completely and is ready to be played immediately.

-Completely cleaned

-Frets polished and fretboard oiled

-New set of Pyramid 10 gauge nickel strings put on

-Ready to be played (just tune it up);

Auxiliary stuff:

-No case or gigbag included. The guitar will be wrapped well, and put into a sturdy cardboard box with lots of filler material. If you wish I can buy a fitting case at your costs.
