I made this baby from the coolest parts I could get my hands on. It is a late 60's Fender Coronado Bass Body that has had some sort of life that caused it to do that!!! Then I took a late 60's Fender Villager 12-string Acoustic....and married the two.
Gussied it up with some big gold tuners, a couple of P-90's and great hardware. I purposely left the empty tuner holes empty and kept the circular arc of the bottom of the neck.
It plays and sounds like nothing else. Even though it is a 6-string electric tenor guitar, its main body parts are a bass guitar and a 12-string acoustic.
I don't own another guitar that is more fun to play and gets more attention.
