Yamaha CVS-10 Organ Expander & Power Supply (Reduced)

The CVS-10 Combination Organ Expander is ideal for enhancing organ sounds along with another MIDI keyboard. It comes with 16 pre-set organ voices for both the Upper and Lower keyboards and 8 for the Pedal board. All of these can be edited and saved as User sounds, in addition to the Pre-set sounds. There are a total of 64 Registration Memory options plus the presets, giving a vast range of customable sounds.

Each of the Upper and Lower voices have the 9 standard flute footages found on many organs, these being 16', 8', 5-1/3', 4', 2-2/3',2', 1-1/3' and 1'. In addition, they have Attack: 4', 2-2/3' and 2'. The pedal board has 16', 8' and 4'. These appear on the display as digital drawbars and each have 7 positions, allowing for each voice to be modified and saved to a registration memory. Even if you only have a single manual keyboard, both the Upper and Lower voices of the CVS-10 can be played by setting them to receive the same MIDI channel.

It was originally advertised by Yamaha as being for use with their Electone range of organs but I have also used it with other MIDI instruments from different manufacturers.

I purchased this as a new unit many years ago in the UK and it comes with the original, hard-to-find PA-W10 power adapter. Although this is for 240V AC and has a UK power plug, I'm also providing a step-up adapter which converts 110/120V AC to 220/240V AC and therefore allows it to be used in the US or Canada.

It has only been lightly used in a smoke-free home environment and is in excellent condition. It comes with a printed pdf copy of the User's Guide plus an original copy of Yamaha's guide on "how to produce the orignal sound of the organ on the Electone" and also a Voice Data sheet for the CVS-10.
