A record player with a direct drive system.
There were 2 types, PL 1100 with Rosewood finish and PL 1100 d with white oak style design.

The direct drive system, which directly drives the turntable, reduces uneven rotation caused by the transmission system and vibration caused by high-speed motor rotation.
An electronic circuit automatically controls the number of revolutions once set to prevent fluctuations in ambient temperature and power supply voltage. In addition, the power supply for driving the motor is converted to DC by a built-in constant voltage circuit, so the number of revolutions is constant regardless of the power supply frequency.

The bearing of the tone arm is precisely polished to improve the tracing capability.
In addition, since the tone arm itself is designed to have a lower center of gravity, tracing capability for 4-channel records with complex sound grooves is improved.

By reinforcing the inside of the cabinet and using special rubber for the insulator, adverse effects of internal and external vibrations are prevented.

Uses a unique anti-skating mechanism that combines a cam and spring.
In addition, in order to prevent damage to records and needle tips, an arm elevation mechanism is mounted, which is linked with the on-off control lever of the turntable rotation.

It uses a purely electronic speed switching system, and is equipped with a strobe capable of fine-adjusting the speed within ± 2%.

Equipped with a strobe light that illuminates the strobe inscribed on the outer circumference of the turntable.
