Up for sale is this set of Gibson Custombucker PAF pickups. The bridge pick up reads 7.84K on my digital meter, and the neck reads 7.88.
I recently acquired a large a lot of Gibson pick ups that have been removed from a large collection of Gibson custom shop 1959, 1958, and 1960 Les Paul guitars, among a few others. This fellow was a collector with an insane number of Gibson custom shop guitars. He also went a little crazy searching for the perfect tone, and swapped out the pick ups in nearly all of his Custom Shop guitars. Some of these had burstbuckers, especially those that were prior to 2012. The newer guitars had custombuckers.
He also clearly mark these as having Alnico 3 magnets, which are characteristic of custombuckers.
Free return if not fully satisfied.
