(USED) There's something so comfortable about a traditional mahogany OM. When it's built by the right luthier or shop, we find that we're almost instantly at home, both in terms of the sound of the instrument but also the overall feel and "vibe". When the OM is built by Huss & Dalton, it's more or less guaranteed to be fantastic!
Such is the case with this TOM-M Custom, just in on consignment. It has elegant good looks and mostly traditional "18" style appointments, but it is distinguished by some excellent looking sinker mahogany (that is, wood that was at one time submerged in Belize... minerals are absorbed and contribute to the vivid appearance of the wood's figure) and a perfectly lovely Adirondack spruce top. Yup, it's all good with this guitar. It sounds warm and dry, nicely opened up with no tightness or harshness. Like we said, you'll be right at home on first strum!
1 3/4" nut width, 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle, full 25.4" scale. Ebony bridge, pins and fingerboard, Honduran rosewood head cap and bridge plate. Nickel Waverly tuning machines. Condition is EX with no fret wear and just a couple very light finish impressions above the soundhole on the bass side (attempted to photograph... they're minute)
Includes original tweed TKL hard case.
