This 1934 National Trojan Squareneck is in good condition. This instrument shows signs of play wear and age throughout including finish checking and multiple dings and scratches. A one inch piece of binding is missing from the back edge of the body as well as another small area of binding shrinkage below the neck heel on the back of the guitar. There is a small gap between the body and the neck heel. The neck is very solid and does not move. This instrument is completely playable and sounds fantastic! A wonderful instrument for old time slide picking, bluegrass and blues. If you are after a fantastic sounding squareneck resonator guitar, then this 89 year old National Trojan is ready to tell some more stories.
