1981 Fernandes Japan RJB-75 "The Revival" Series Jazz Bass (Nitro Sunburst)

Made in Japan in 1981, this RJB-75 was the professional level Jazz Bass model from the Fernandes "Revival" catalog. Sold as a 1960 reissue model, this features a nitro lacquer sunburst finish on a two piece alder body with a maple neck and slab rosewood fingerboard (39mm bone nut) and weighs 4kg's. All original with all the factory upgrade trimmings including reverse-wound machine heads, thumb rest, spiral saddles and custom made cloth-wire JB pickups controlled by full sized pots. This thing rivals just about any Jazz Bass from the 1980's including those made by Fender, a true example of what Japanese factories were capable of producing.
Very good vintage condition as pictured with some patina to the hardware and regular finish wear and tear from basic use. Neck is straight and the frets are shiny with plenty of life, truss works as it should and the electronics were serviced and sound great.
