This Gibson acoustic is being sold AS-IS for repairs or restoration. RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
The guitar has had professional work done to it which makes it difficult to decipher exact model. The body has appointments of early Gibson Heritage including laminate rosewood back and sides, but the headstock does not have the correct logo or inlays for a Heritage. In addition to this, the neck has a large shim under the tongue which implies that it is not original to the body. The adjustable bridge was probably added at the same time as the re-neck since x-braces had to be cut in order accommodate the adjusting bolts. The top is sinking slightly and the bridge is lifting a bit. It doesn't affect the playability of the guitar below the 7th fret, but there is some buzzing above it. The neck is one piece mahogany with a rosewood board, no volute and no "Made In USA" stamp. In addition to these appointments, the serial number implies that the neck is either from 1966 or 1969. Due to discrepancies between the neck and body appointments and the X-brace modifications, this guitar is being sold AS-IS with no returns at a low price.
