An ultra short scale minibass built for maximum portability but with high quality components, materials, craftsmanship, fit and finish. This compares on quality to the recent Fender Juniors.
As you probably know, Fujigen have been a long time stalwart guitar maker in Japan, responsible for production of Fender, Ibanez, Heartfield and many more quality builds.
This little fellow is in mint condition apart from the headstock color being slightly sun bleached compared to the body, and is ideal for travelling or for those with small hands, and sounds deep and round despite it's size.
Of course having such a short scale with bass strings means sustain will not be as nice as on a long scale but it is surprisingly useable, it certainly sets up nicely and plays very smoothly.
These retailed at 80000jpy back in the day and are discontinued since around 2010. This one appears to be a 2002 serial.
