About This Listing

This listing is for a Vintage 1964 Mosrite Ventures Guitar Body & Neck Husk that is being listed for Repair-Restoration. As you can see, this is a project for someone looking to restore or customize a Vintage 1964 Mosrite Ventures model guitar.

The body and neck have been refinished in natural and some strawberry decals have been applied to the body. Most of the parts have been removed. The guitar comes as pictured. The neck plate, nut, and strap buttons are original. The turners and truss rod cover are not original. The was originally a "Vibramute" model and the serial on the neck is 0600.

The guitar is an excellent candidate for restoration if you have the correct parts. The neck is in good shape and the truss rod is functional. The guitar has not been significantly modified. There is a filled hole in the front of the headstock that we do not know the reason for, see pics. The pickups routes are original and but are the typically sloppy Mosrite routing. The frets are original and are the original low flat Mosrite frets. A few of the pearl neck dots come come out.

The guitar shows typical cosmetic wear and tear but no significant damage. The guitar comes with a gig bag and will be expertly packed for safe shipping.

Please look at the pictures and message with questions. Because this guitar will require professional restorations I am only offering a strict 2 day approval period and buyer would be responsible for all shipping charges including return shipping. No exceptions.
