This finely crafted instrument is a Kuun Roxy Jazz archtop guitar, built by luthier Murray Kuun at his small shop outside of Johannesburg, South Africa. With his unique designs along with high quality wood and a vision for futuristic but also familiar features, these guitars are truly one of a kind. This Roxy Jazz is built with a Swiss spruce top with Cherry back and sides, along with an African mahogany neck and Imbuia fretboard. There is a single humbucker pickup on the top with master volume and tone controls, along with a floating bridge in the traditional archtop fashion. It’s fitted with flatwound 12 gauge strings for a Jazz feel, and includes a custom-fitted hardshell case. The guitar is lightly used and still in excellent condition.
