Here is a very eye catching old Lotus L640 Strat style guitar that I believe is from the 1980's. This must have been one of the brand's higher end Strat offerings as it features a wild multicolor blended finish, gold plated hardware and even what appears to be a brass nut that was popular in that era. It looks to be all original and it's in very nice shape for its age. There are a few small scuffs here and there that should be visible in the photos. The gold on the hardware shows some light fading but nothing bad. There is a little playing wear on the back of the neck around the 3rd-5th fret area but again nothing distracting. The neck is straight with comfortable action and good frets. Everything works as it should and it sounds great. I do not have the tremelo arm for the guitar. As a Korean made Lotus the overall quality is probably a notch below the better Japanese brands of the era (Electra, Ibanez, Aria etc), but it's still a very decent guitar with a oneof a kind look. If you had one of these way back in the day and feel nostalgic about it you probably won't find a nicer one!
