For sale is a very rare Yamaha SY22 Digital Vector Synthesizer keyboard. This synth is capable of some really complex textures, due to its unique synthesis engine partly derived from the legendary Sequential Circuits Prophet VS. Using a four point joystick that acts as on onboard mixer for four simultaneous wave samples, FM or evolving sounds, you can create your own layers and record motion data along with your patch changes! Great for TV or film soundtrack work and ambient electronics, the Yamaha SY22 has been used by both Moby and Scanner.

It has a full-size 61-key keyboard with velocity and aftertouch, is eight parts multi-timbral, and incorporates a small effects section with 16 digital delays and reverbs.

Note - the keyboard is in beautiful condition and all functions are solid. Also, the unit could be used as a MIDI controller to trigger an array of stacked rack units, as the combination of other modules with the SY22 could rival something like the Korg Triton or Roland Fantom sound-wise if done correctly.

*Note : condition is actually "Excellent" but because previous seller had "Very Good" as their condition upon acquisition, I leave it at that.*

It is a HUGE, heavy board so shipping is flat rate and fixed.
