The Lo-Pro Edge locking tremolo bridge is based on the Floyd Rose tremolo design. What makes this bridge unique is the fact that the string locks and fine tuners are independent of one another. This design allows the Lo-Pro to protrude less from the top of the body, minimizing interference with the player's picking hand and arm.
The Lo-Pro Edge was designed by Gotoh and originally introduced on Ibanez guitars in 1991. It has been used extensively on many models. This is the current production version.
