1961 Selmer MARK VI Low A Baritone Saxophone #94,xxx - 95% original lacquer - fresh mechanical overhaul
GORGEOUS!
$12,995
If you’re looking to bring out your inner Cuber this is the horn for you!
I’ve spent 20+ hours overhauling this gem with Pisoni Pro Pads and PM resonators (solid brass domes with screw mounts), new springs, key fitting, mating the key cup and tone hole alignment tolerances. I’m really proud of how this beautiful gem plays! Fast, light action with a large solid core that will part the seas. Original neck fits like a glove now and it subtones all the way down to A.
This one was well cared for and lightly used over it’s 62 years.
There has been some previous light dent work performed that shows evidence of “spider webbing” in the lacquer, mostly on the body tube (chair dings). There is some lacquer loss on the bell flare that’s not noticeable from a distance.
This will ship in it’s original Selmer case, but I do recommend adding in a new MTS wheeled case for an additional charge. These MTS cases offer the most protection in my experience of most of today’s modern replacement cases.
You can relax knowing this was set up and thoroughly tested by a professional baritone saxophonist.
This is some of my best work.
