Stand Out from The Crowd

Outfitted with heavy 0.24 - 0.84 Fender Bass VI strings, the SubZero Rogue VI is designed to keep the strings at an appropriate tension, even at such low tuning. Though the application for heavy rock and metal is obvious with an instrument of this style, this sort of instrument has been found in popular music from the 1960s onwards, making appearance in many classic pop, indie and pop punk songs.

Custom Shape for Comfort and Versatility

Classic shapes with a modern twist. Refined to accommodate any player, the SubZero Rogue VI's neck and body boasts well thought out design. Ensuring an ergonomic and comfortable instrument, you get a heavily beveled top edge and a corresponding deeply contoured back. This is also matched with a recessed neck heel for easy access to the 22 frets.

This is a used instrument. It's in Very Good condition (or better) but it does have some minor cosmetic imperfections: The finish is a little roughed up right around the bridge posts. It's very hard to see unless you're looking for it because the affected area is obscured under the bridge. The pickguard also has minor scratches and swirling in the playing area. Also, the headstock has received a 'bonk' or two over time and is slightly blunted right at the tip.

Each of these imperfections is minor on its own and would likely not have been noticed if I hadn't mentioned it. I categorized this guitar conservatively as 'Very Good' to err on the side of caution. I am in no way a skilled photographer, but I've made an effort to capture the instrument as accurately as possible. Please checkout the pics & make your own judgements. Applicable to Instruments: The action on my instruments is setup medium-low & adjusted to my own preferences but generally meets or exceeds factory specs. It should be acceptable to most players, but your mileage may vary.

As a result of many potential factors including the handling involved in transport, the speed and degree of changes in humidity & temperature, etc. it is possible that once your instrument is unpacked, it may need some minor adjustment to play its best, despite the attention paid to setup prior to it being packed up for shipment.

If your instrument does end up needing adjustment, I recommend supporting your local guitar shop. Get acquainted with the guitar tech/luthier/wizard, buy a set of strings & have them installed or even consider getting a complete setup. Alternatively, it's well worth investing a little time, acquiring a few tools and learning to do pro-level setups yourself. YouTube has tons of setup & maintenance videos from reputable & entertaining sources. There's even videos of Billy Sheehan setting up his own bass.
