This offering was crafted by Pan-African Arts using a gourd grown in Nigeria. Note:
The gourd's lip was weakened by a powder-post beetle attack but was strengthened with wood hardener. Another flaw is the lack of resonance despite the interior having been treated. Because of these issues, this offering is reduced in price from what normally would be charged from an instrument of comparable size.
The instrument features white and blue pony beads strung onto wbite netting (with braided upper and lower collars to prevent slippage).
