Vintage 1981 Roland Cube-60, 80s Orange MIJ

Clean, minty vintage Roland Cube-60, made in Japan in glorious 1980s orange.

If you're familiar with these you know that this is essentially half a Roland JC-120 Jazz Chorus (without the chorus). The Jazz Chorus has a reputation of being one of the cleanest amps ever, but the Jazz Chorus is a 120 watt 2 x 12 combo which also has the reputation of being way too loud for anything but a big venue. So this is the perfect smaller version of that monster.

Serial number is for a 1981 manufacture date which makes it an early example (the first 2 digits in the Roland serial number are the month since November 1980 which was 000000, so 010000 is December 1980, 020000 is January 1981, etc., so this 031360 serial number would be February 1981).

Works great, but just so you know, the volume pot is a push/pull, and it is a little scratchy when you move it. It's fine once your volume is set. I would suspect that a few sprays of pot cleaner would remedy that, but it didn't bother me that much so I never pulled the chassis out to try to clean it.
