Only around 250 were made in North Hollywood, California, and Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains made it famous - the Bogner Fish boutique preamp. Other well-known names such as Alan Holdsworth also relied on this marvel of a 19-inch rack preamp.
The amp with the serial number 056 is said to have belonged to Alan Holdsworth (not proven) and was pre-owned by Tommy Vetterli (Coroner).
The amp has four channels: Strato, Shark, Brown, Country, switched via two jack-switch sockets on the rear panel. Any pedal with relay function can be connected.
The Fish is equipped with 12AX7 preamp tubes. It runs on 220 volts.
This is one of the rare opportunities to come into possession of one of these very rare boutique preamps!
