A rare set of vintage Pioneer SE-L40 headphones in amazing condition! Please see all pictures. These include ALL of the original packaging materials including the box, case, manual and even the original silica packet! The leather, pads, metal pieces, cord etc are all in perfect or near perfect shape.
These are incredibly detailed in the high end yet never fatiguing. One can listen to them all day The midrange warmth is incredible and yet is still a perfect fit for all music styles. The bass is tight, present and yet never overbearing. We love the overall balance of this design! They remind us of the 70's or 80's Sennheisers (like the 540 which we use for testing as well as casual listening on a daily basis).
These are also incredibly comfortable and can be worn all day without feeling like you have a vice on your head. Pioneer really knocked it out of the park with these headphones!
