I have a Schecter USA Custom Shop Nick Johnston here. This is a
well-kept first year production 2016, it is also called the Nick Johnston USA Traditional. It comes with all of its
paperwork and case candy including the original box and COA for the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Antiquity Texas hot pickups. I will post the specs at the bottom of the listing.

Conditionally this guitar is in good shape. The body top shows typical
light guitar strumming on the plastic pickguard but I see very little of
that sort of surface swirling on the guitar body itself hardly any. That
goes for the top sides and the back. Any superficial swirling will be
scattered in minimal with no buildup or all over sheen. I found one small
Mark near the input jack that is about 1 to 2 millimeters in size. Beyond
that I found three small surfaces indentations that are superficial to the
extent that I'm not even sure if they're playware they could just be
natural ridges in the wood as there is no distress on the actual finish it
looks like just a tiny little surface impression about again a millimeter
or two in size.

I did not find any Buckle rash, warming, neck pocket cracks, penetrating
finish scratches. Or any other marks of note. The neck looks excellent
throughout I found no playware or marks and the frets show no petting or
divots or any measurable wear. And there are no sharp fret edges. The
headstock shows no marks the hardware looks nice and shiny throughout. The
case shows a little bit of external use but no major marks or anything
wrong with the case. The setup plays outstanding. And the electronics are
stock. The only thing I would recommend is a new set of strings your
favorite set on when you get it.

So this one rates a 9.25/10 and grates as excellent. It's a well-capped
guitar. And looks and plays excellent. As noted I found one small Mark near
the input jack. And the most famous of indentations that I'm not even sure
are indentations they're so minor. Overall it's a beautiful well-kept

So a few things about this model. Foremost this is the Schecter USA version
of a classic S style guitar. With the S of course implying Stratocaster.
Schecter is probably less known for their high-end USA Custom Shop and More for their intermediate level guitars that are budget priced. Their USA
custom shop stuff is absolutely outstanding. And a completely different
animal than a lot of guitars in its price bracket.

The Nick Johnson traditional is probably the best Strat style guitar they
have ever made. It is traditional but there are some Modern Innovations to
it the bridge is a gotoh 510 the same thing that is on my Suhr classic S.
The Fret work is just immaculate it really plays more like a modern neck
than a vintage neck and the Frets are a little bit bigger than what I see
on vintage style strats. Likewise the locking tuners are state of the art

The pickups are again one of those best in the world type quality. Seymour
Duncan Custom Shop Texas hot Antiquities. You get the Nick Johnson sound
and also the Stevie Ray Vaughan sound from this. Just a great all-around
single coil pickups.

One other mention is the current year model of the Nick Johnson traditional
is quite a departure from this one. It has a wenge neck and an ebony
fretboard. That is more of an exotic wood sound that has more focus and
singular clarity. The original version that I have here is the traditional
wood combo of an alder body with a maple neck and Rosewood fretboard. That tonality has a wider dynamic range and will sound more open a little bit
more loose but more three-dimensional. That's sort of the classic
Stratocaster sound. That would combo is tried and true and it sounds really
great here.

Conclusively this model is another fine incarnation of an s-style
guitar. Made in a USA Custom shop to the finest standards.

Note that this listing may come down at anytime as I am a
multi-platform seller and do sell locally as well in an effort to keep
sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged on Reverb sales when
applicable, so factor that in to your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes,
ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing
inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally
detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.

Thank you for reading and considering!
