For sale is a true road worn 1984 Martin 000-18. It’s bumps and bruises reflect the years of appreciation for the tone of this guitar…very warm and woody. Plus, it‘s all set to go: the neck has been recently reset (non-truss rod version), the frets are in great condition (I don’t know if it has had a refret or not…there are some indentations on the fretboard in the cowboy chord psitions), and I added a Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup system. There is pleny of height on the saddle.

I am not a luthier, but the scratch on the top by the bridge seems to be surface. I have included pics from inside. I have had this guitar roughly 4 seasons in Ohio and have not seen it move at all.

If you’re looking for a closet queen, this is not it…this one clearly has been played and enjoyed. The sound is fabulous. I have played it out through my Bose system with minimal EQ adjustment.

I have described/photographed this guitar to the best of my ability. Please do not purchase of you aren ‘t sure you want it. It was listed as “good” due to it’s age, but for a vintage instrument, it’s in very good condition.
