FENDER 1972 “TWIN REVERB” (AA270) AMPLIFIER – SERIAL# A40116

VERY Rare Fender TWIN REVERB from 1972 (AA270), (Serial Number A40116) Built on March 9th, 1972 (Stamped Inside Circuit area).  This Twin Reverb Amplifier has a VERY Rare “FACTORY ANAMOLIE STAMP”, The Serial number has been double stamped on the Chassis, first number was a 3, then they stamped it 4, (Chassis from 1971)

A25600 to A37000 – 1971    A37000 to A50500 – 1972

This Amplifier has original TWIN REVERB Circuitry with New “Matched” GROOVETUBE 6L6GC Power Tubes. Balanced the Bias at 32ma. The Power Capacitors have been changed to New “TUBE AMP DOCTOR” Capacitors due to age and leakage. The Capacitors and Resistors in the Circuit area are Original. The Speakers are Brand New Eminence Legends 128s (12 inch/8 ohm) (Original Speakers were unknown replaced years ago). It also has the Original Power and Output Transformer from 1972. Also has original Fender Twin Reverb Cover.
