This vintage circuit bent Speak & Spell has been modified by B1t Crunch3r and features a battery kill/hard reset switch with battery indicator LED and a quick reset button, 1/8th" mono output jack, 1/4" mono output jack, a momentary loop button, a loop hold switch, a glitch loop button, 4 different glitch switches, a momentary/modifier glitch button, 2 distortion switches, a pitch on/off switch and corresponding pitch amount knob. This one is in great condition with some minor wear visible on the back. The battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion.
The Speak & Spell was released in 1978 and uses a 4 bit microprocessor and a custom DSP. It has a vocabulary of more than 200 words. The added modifications make this unit perfect for creative sound design using guitar pedals and outboard rack gear or straight into your recording software of choice.
