Original Ampex VS-10 Variable Speed Osc VSO for ATR-100 AG-440C MM-1100 MM1200
This is the original tape machine speed controller made by Ampex (70s). It can be used to control capstan speed of the Ampex AG-440C, ATR-100, MM-1100, and MM-1200 recorders. Controller can be used in 3 modes -- a group of stepped tone increment / decrement settings controlled by the black push buttons, and continuous fine or course control, using the +/- pot on the right hand side of the unit. The display shows speed as a percentage of nominal tape speed.
Note: ATR-100 interface cable (20’/pictured) IS included with this item.
