Deering Artisan Goodtime Special 5-string Banjo - Dark Red Mahogany Satin 5-string Resonator Banjo with Maple Body, Maple Neck, and Maple Fingerboard. (Banjo Made in USA). Comes with soft case.

A great-sounding Banjo with a Vintage Look and Vibrant Tone!

Boasting a patented steel tone ring for added volume, the Deering Artisan Goodtime Special is a 5-string resonator banjo with a vintage look and a vibrant tone.

This banjo is tailor-made for full-band scenarios thanks to its 3-ply, violin-grade maple rim, which yields a bright, clear tone with mortar-like projection.

The Artisan Goodtime Special's commanding tone is supported by a 3-ply resonator with straight sidewalls, an 11-inch top-frosted high-crown head, and a beveled steel tension hoop.

Its comfortable "D"-shaped rock maple neck and flat-radius midnight maple fingerboard give rise to effortless playability. You also get fifth-string capo spikes, enabling you to transpose keys quickly and easily.

The Artisan Goodtime Special is a well-appointed instrument with sealed geared Planetary tuners, a nickel-plated armrest, stability-enhancing "J"-hooks, and a patented quiet metal tailpiece.

The Deering Artisan Goodtime Special comes adorned with artisan-inspired inlays and a hand-applied satin polyurethane finish.
