Up next from my collection is the Crate GX-130c. For those who are unaware, this amp is the one death metal legends, Cannibal Corpse used on their first few records. This thing is practically an ampeg VH-140c in sheep’s clothing. It’s a solid work horse that’s in amazing condition. I would say excellent, but I grade conservatively. While this amp is known for its lead channel, the rhythm is one of the cleanest, and loudest clean channels I’ve ever heard. There’s a lot of Crate-hate out there, but I feel like this amp could effectively change the opinion of the masses.
