Shreddy or not. Here I come. You can’t hide. This gutiar has a punk rock spirit just as much as a metal spirit. This guitar is the kid that had allies in both the metal kids and the skate punk kids. This guitar shows up to a Megadeth show on a skateboard in a plain white T-shirt. This guitar had someone's Reaganite parents ban their children from speaking to them, but those same parents then tried to backpeddle when they saw them take the podium to deliver a Valedictorian speech. This guitar is credited with inventing a handful of skateboard tricks and also an accessible and cost-effective water purification system. This guitar would be just as at home on stage with the Bad Brains as it would be with Iron Maiden. I grew up really into the bands from the 80's and 90's D.C. punk scene and I remember looking through zines and seeing punk bands playing shredder guitars. There's a punk spirit inside this guitar for sure.

As an instrument, this thing totally rips. At it's core it's totally a great guitar, a really vibrant player with snappy string response. It has a phenomenal neck. I love that it doesn't have any locking parts, the trem and nut are just a straight ahead guitar nut. One of the pickups was unfortunately dead, so it's been replaced with a Fender humbucker (original is still included in case you want to have it rewound). The neck had a split and it's been repaired, you can feel it a little bit in the F position but the repair is rock solid. The way that it split gave it a lot of surface area to go back together nicely, the break was in the best way possible for it to go back together again. It has nice locking tuners. The pickup rings are rad! I love the contrast of the two reds against each other. The trem is really a straight ahead strat trem which is so awesome, it's missing the bar but they're not too hard to find. The trem cover is missing but they just make guitars without those now anyways. It's been partially rewired, it's ready to rip. Great guitar!
