Ibanez SR690 2000 Trans Burgundy Over Ash

This is a very good condition 2000 Ibanez SR690 from the famous Fugi-Gen factory in Japan. Active "Vari-mid" electronics and that famous sleek and comfy SDGR neck combine for a pretty enjoyable playing experience no matter what style of music you are laying down. Great sounding bass for those metal and thrash bass players. Of course, the wood selection and craftsmanship are stellar.

Ash body, 3-piece maple neck with a rosewood fretboard loaded with 24 very accessible frets.

The bass has been given a proper setup for best playability for the novice or entry player: string action set, intonation set, bridge adjusted to neck radius, truss rod adjusted, original electronics checked and tested 100%, frets, neck, body, hardware cleaned and polished. The bass is set to plug and play. The strings are semi-new with plenty of life left still having plenty of punch and bite.

New battery for the active electronics.

The bass does have minor scratches on the backside around the neck bolts (see picture), but barely visible. The bass has seen its days during gigging earning its usual wear and tear scars, but it was well taken care of due to its age.

The bass comes with its original Ibanez hardcase.
