Gretsch 20/13/16" Vintage 70's Stop Sign Badge Drum Set - Champagne Sparkle

Here is a very clean set of vintage early 70's Gretsch Stop Sign Badge drums! These are sized 14x20", 9x13", and 16x16" and finished in classic Champagne Sparkle wrap. All original and in excellent condition! For this brief time period, Gretsch used metal bass drum hoops. Internal tone controls are present and functional on both resonant and batter sides of the 9x13" and 16x16". Interiors and bearing edges are in excellent condition, as well as the wrap - no lifting, cracks, discoloration, or notable cosmetic wear with the exception of two very small scuffs in the wrap of the 9x13", which we have pictured. The chrome on this set is in 9/10 condition; no pitting or rust, and nicely polished! Individual details below:

Steve’s notes: I had a set from this era when I was touring back in the early 70s and these are wonderful drums. This was early SSB and they were making the transition from RB, and made a few changes such as the sturdier 4 hole mount rail, (rather than the 2 hole) and also used metal bass drum hoops with inlay. I love these because the drum has extra resonance. These are fabulous sets and rare. This one is in really excellent shape!
